I have two nephews. Nathan is 5 and Noah turned 1 last weekend. My sister and brother-in-law threw him a baby Sesame Street party! Here's the documentation.
Happy Elmo cake. Cupcakes actually.
My dad, looking very festive. Nathan had us all wear hats.
Nathan.
Birthday boy Noah.
Nathan's friend, Evan, and Nathan jumping in mid air and take off position. I love this one.
Friend, baby Sarah. This gift was a hit! It's like Ferris wheel meets ABCs.
Noah's favorite present was the ribbon. I love the way he sits!
Nathan helped unwrap the presents. My mom got him one of course.
Ferris Wheel/ABC toy.
He liked the cake.
And then he didn't.

Abby + Jimmy
Here are few shots from Abby and Jimmy's engagement shoot at a winery here in town. It was very cool. Abby and Jimmy even brought their own grapes to smash! I am looking forward to working with you guys!
Tip of the day: Props are fun for photo sessions. Umbrellas, hats, grapes. Anything that makes you, you.

Fun times in the Windy City
I'm back from Chicago! I went with a friend from college and we met up with a few of his friends from France. Every now and then I was caught in a French conversation. P.S: my French is at about high school level 3. Every now and then I'd catch something. Yay me! In French, that's "Yay moi." I'm co-leading a trip to France next summer with school so I'd better brush up!
I got my fill of art. We went to the Art Institute and had a Ferris Bueller moment in front of the Seurat painting. And we saw was a really neat photography exhibit on American backyards.
Here are some pictures. I didn't take the 5D, just my little Elph.
This a huge fountain built to mimic the fountain at Versailles, France. Every night it does a light show.
Lawrence (college friend), Vincent (French friend), and me at a Reds game.
Hancock building.

Sarah + Daniel
I ended July weddings with a bang! Sarah and Daniel were great to work with. Poor Sarah is a trooper, she was sick on her wedding day. And Daniel is so kind. I was so excited for this elevator shot and really like the way it turned out. Who doesn't a spontaneous ;) elevator shot? Everyone made it through the heat too.
Tip of the day: Shout out to Deep South wedding photographers. Ya'll must be ringin' wet after a wedding. Cheers to hydration.
